It wasn’t until I was about 22 that I saw snow for the first time. Being from Australia, we all know it doesn’t really snow there! I remember the very first time it snowed for me! (well not EXACTLY for me….but you get the point!) I was driving across Canada & staying at a friends house – she woke me in the morning saying ‘Angie, Angie…. its snowing outside!!!’ I ran outside SO fast I forgot my shoes and a jacket. No one told me snow was so cold 😉
SOOOO imagine my delight when the beautiful Katie messaged me and told me that her and her partner, Nate, wanted a winter engagement session! My obsession with snow meant that I was not only going to get to shoot in the snow, but check an item off my bucket list! (to shoot when the snow is actually falling from the sky!)
I instantly loved Nate & Katie – and even more so when Katie told me that she had lived in Australia and knew all my silly little slang words! She loved the same Australian food as I did and shared a mutual love for my country. YAY!
We chose Cheesman Park for the session and when we arrived it was snowing – and looked like its very own winter wonderland!!!! N + K were so brave in the 27 degree weather (Katie even wore a dress!!!) They did everything I asked and were complete troopers. They didn’t complain a single time! <3
Congratulations on your engagement lovebirds- you’re a beautiful couple!!
